Number 9

I have been looking into the mystical use of numbers and I am finding some very reveling wisdom in the relationship of them and the universal governing powers that control our lives. The one I would like to talk about is the number 9.

From childhood we learn to count and then mathematics. We begin to learn the more complex systems of algebra and if you made it this far going into trigonometry and calculus. Geometry is part of mathematics that deals with measurements of shapes, area and volume of things and the properties of space. Geometry is from the ancient Greek meaning “earth-measurement”. Geometry would fall into the field of astronomy and the relationship between movements of celestial bodies and the mapping the positions of stars and planets which is part of astronomy.

The numbers game is something to be explored and is quite mind boggling. All of us have a favorite number or what we feel is a lucky number. Some have numbers that keep repeating or showing up in one’s life. The number 40 used to be one for me. Numbers are assigned to us as a security insurance number. Our birthdates are related to numbers and the stars.

Numbers are a secret language by themselves. There are important numbers in the system and the number 1 being holy as far as a God and in many beliefs there are 3 aspects that are given to that God and thus being a triad. This would say 1 being 3 or 3 being 1… so I guess one could say 1 and 3 are equal. Add them together and you would get 4 which means power or strength. Four is also the number for man.

In Zen, 0 is a number with a value although people don’t recognize it to have a value. But without knowing the value of 0, I would not see the value in 1.

Reading the bible 3’s, 7’s and 12’s are most noticeable.

3 is related to some sort of change has happened or “Divine purpose”.

7 is usually related to Gods power “Perfection”

12 was related to power and authority as in the disciples or the elders. 12 being” Government”

q1

The number nine is noted in biblical scripture 49 times stated by, http://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numbers-in-bible/9.html, but I would say the number 9 is repeated time and time again in the bible but a lot of people do not see or catch the clever masking of it. Let me give you an example of what I am talking about. What if I was to say if you would add the number 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 together they would equal nine? You would say impossible at first glance, but this is how the mystical crafters worked. Lets break the numbers down in a way to have them add in pairs; so (1+2= 3); (3+4=7); (5+6=11); (7+8=15); (9+0=9) so we are left with 3, 7, 11, 15 and 9.

Add 3, 7, 11, 15 and 9 and you get 45 and 4+5=9.

In a simpler way just add 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+0=45 and 4+5=9

Remember this is a numbers game and 3, 7, 11, 15 have meanings as well. In seeing this we did produce the number 9 in the hidden formation of numbers. It is a code that is threaded throughout the bible and only those would have the ability to drop the crap that we have been influence by can begin to see the truth. Going to the 4 groups of number related to nine, here being 3, 7, 11, 15 they add up to 36

q1e

Let me throw out some other numbers. 360 = 9. 360 drop the zero and we have 36 and 3+6 = 9. We associate 360 as being a complete circle in degrees and each quarter of this circle is 90 degrees and half 90 is 45 thus 4+5=9. If we take each degree of right angles here and go from 0 to 90 then 180 then to 270 and complete the circle of 360 each value on their own adds up to 9. Looking at the compass we are taught that we have four directions North, South, East and West. And those are usually drawn out in two lines of longitude and latitude, one from top to bottom and one from side to side. But in reality we live in the spaces between these cardinal points. Thus being Northeast, Southeast, Southwest and Northwest each of these having 9 letters to form the areas in which we live. Now take that one more step and take each 90 degree point and add or subtract the next 45 degree angle and the number would still add to 9. IE: 90 degrees plus 45 degrees =135 and 1+3+5 = 9.

So I would say the best direction to follow is 9 which in Hebrew is “New life” and 9 is supreme consciousness and in Buddhism we come to the 9th consciousness.

The number nine gas been portrayed in song and movies. Johnny Deep played the role in the “Ninth gate”. Tim Burton’s stop figure animation “9” and the Beatles “Revolution 9” from their White album which was from their 9th UK album released.

John Lennon liked to the number 9 and lived at an address of; 9 Newcastle rd, Wavertree, Liverpool. Each name here has 9 letters. Lennon was born on Oct 9th. Love potion number 9 was a popular song in the sixties and was made into a movie as well.

Nicola Tesla was intrigued by numbers as well. He quoted If you only knew the magnificence of 3, 6 and 9 then you would have a key to the universe. It basically boiled down to energy/field/consciousness, which equates in to electricity, magnetism, consciousness.

Nine in the precession of numbers is the highest one can go before a new number begins usually with a 1 thus creating the next series of numbers IE 9 then goes to10. 99 then goes to 100, 999 then to 1000

The human is thought to be carried in the womb for 9 months.

Christ died in the 9th hour.

Christ died at the age 33 and 3×3=9

In gen 6:3 (equals 9) God set the life span of man to 120 ( 120 drop the 0 and is 12 and equals 3. 12 is also governing law and man cannot pass this age)

The mark of the beast is 666 and this =’s 9. 6+6+6=18 and 1+8 =9.

The chosen 144,000 in revelations is 1+4+4 = 9

In the 145th Psalm we find 9 reasons for praising God.

From the book Numbers and their Occult power by Wynn Westcott; Attention is called to its being an emblem of Matter, which, ever varying, is never destroyed; so the number 9 when multiplied by any number always reproduces itself,

thus: – 9 times 2 are 18 and 8+1=9; and so on below:

9×3=27; 2+7=9       9×12=108; 1+8=9

9×4=36; 3+6=9       9×13=117; 7+1+1=9

9×5=45; 4+5=9       9×14=126; 6+2+1=9

9×6=54; 5+4=9       9×15=135; 5+3+1=9

9×7=63; 6+3=9       9×16=144; 4+4+1=9

9×8=72;7+2=9         9×17=153; 3+5+1=9

9×9=81; 8+1=9       9×18=162; 2+6+1=9

9×10=90; 9+0=9     9×19=171; 1+7+1=9

9×11=99;                 9×20=180; 8+1+0=9

Cats are to said to have 9 lives and in the hyrogithic we can see the black cat Bastet

Throwing in a 7

Lastly God being light; As I have stated before in other post the light I talk about is all frequencies in the known spectrum.

The speed of light in MPH is 670,616,629 mph, 299,792,458 meters per second, or 186, 282 miles per second. Light takes approximately one second to travel the 238,854 miles to the moon. The speed of light is considered a physical constant that is used in many areas of physics. This is because light always travels at this speed in space or in a vacuum regardless of the measurement source or observer. The most popular use of the speed of light is in Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity, E=mc^2, where c represents the speed of light. More formally, the speed of light is the speed of a mass-less particle in a vacuum and is the upper bound on which energy or matter can travel.

emc

From this lets see the numbers work with the speed of light it says the speed of light in mph’s is 670,616,629. If you add them in their groupings of 670+616+629 you would get a total of 1915. 19+15 is 34 and 3+4 =7. If you add them as 1+9+1+5 you would get 16 and 1+6=7. If you add these number by themselves 6+7+0+6+1+6+6+2+9 it would = 43 and 4+3 =7 again. If you add 6+7+0=13, 6+1+6 = 13 and 6+2+9 =17. Add them either as 13+13+17=43 and 4+3=7 or 1+3+1+3+1+7=16 and 1+6=7.   God being light and 7 is the Number related to God in the bible. So I would say that the first verse of Genesis is God created a body for himself which is light

Before Adam and Eve ate, God said In that day would will surely die. Not in the sense of body but in the sense of mind. A lot of people walk around like a zombie or living corpse with no life or no thought. We have gotten disconnected from God as being the cosmos.

The Hungry Ghost Within.

imagesWWCJ8M4P In Buddhism the Idea of the Hungry Ghost are spirits that are lingering around the edges of the mortal realm, trapped by their over attachment to the world, the hungry ghosts, or pretas, are in the grip of their unfulfilled desires. This is symbolized by their huge bellies and tiny mouths that can never satisfy their appetites. From (http://www.wisdomlib.org/definition/realm-of-hungry-ghosts/index.html) Likewise we all have these cravings as these hungry ghost and we all have something we get carried away with and that can enslave us. In my view of things, I have come to understand the biblical roaming lion that comes to kill and destroy is the fleshly desires and the scriptures have called this Satan. I will add that EGO does play a controlling part here but what I want to focus on is addictions, habits and desire because they all kind of go hand in hand.

images1CF28WT3

It is a normal condition of the thoughts of man to desire and because of a physical body and the makeup of emotions we do suffer.  Through experience of desire we have distinguished between what brings pleasure and pain. The wanting is not to suffer and this is the nature of us as humans in the flesh and it is the mind, body and soul working together to attain these things that bring less suffering. It is out of this idea of suffering and survival that we begin to want more to suffer less. This becomes our desire. This is the inner struggle and Buddha has stated that this desire is the one who builds the house.

In understanding what it is to suffer as Buddha has stated it is to desire, to help end suffering we must not desire. This is difficult because we want and need. Part of suffering for man is to find a way to kill the pain caused by suffering and in finding a way to numb this suffering for someone is addiction. Now keep in mind that addictions never start as addictions, they evolve. Part of this is to feed the body with drugs, sex, alcohol, gambling, shopping and food. The flesh is not in and of itself evil as to say bad. But it is the thoughts that man has as to use this body as a tool to end suffering or cause it. We feel and exist in the body and have learned what it is to hunger, to need and feel pain. But deeper than that, it is to satisfy the unsatisfiable as the hungry ghost. I would like to say that it all starts with a desire, a curiosity, a wanting to try something to help ease the suffering. Then for some, having tasted of it, can reject it or try it again. If satisfied with the results one can start making it a routine or habit. Once formed into their daily or weekly routine it can become an addiction and this addiction is what drives the force even harder. This addiction which you have created begins to consume your time, your health, your money and for some their family’s to the point of ruin and death. This root can run deep and create psychological and physiological effects.

cycle-of-addiction

Addictions can be simple as well, simple as just going to the local coffee places and getting the mochas coffee’s. Just once a week and then twice a week and finally daily, some even multiple times a day. Next the craving causes us to want more and the servings get larger with more chocolate added… etc. After about 6 months you begin to wonder why you have gain 30 pounds and then feel miserable because you look at yourself as fat and now you have to find a new routine of going to the gym to get thin and the process now starts again but with a new goal, to not suffer in being overweight. So as to help with suffering we can get caught up with self medicating actions that are commonly related to alcohol, drugs (includes cigarettes and prescriptions) and sexual release. I picked these because they are the quickest way to release stress and if not handled correctly these can become our addictions and when they do we become trapped and if not dealt with they can become our prison and we are now worse off than before. Mind you there are many things we do that are addictive but please understand the point here.

A Facebook friend posted, “We are free to do all things but without discipline we will be brought to ruin”.

I know there is a lot in the realm of human psychology and behavior, I am not an expert. I am merely conveying my thoughts and experience here. I know that a person can overcome addiction and some people cannot. Some have physiological issues or depression that goes a long with it and I would advise to seek professional help. I have overcome several addictions myself and still working on these keeping them under control. The temptation is always present but it is a choice to stand against these or submit to them is mine. I will say it is not a right or wrong doing, it is a condition many find ourselves in and it is what the scriptures try and warn us about in calling it a pit or rut we have fallen into.

Habits and addictions can be balanced and subdued. With the right mind-set progress can be made, BUT, it is a very slippery slope that can entangle anyone and without discipline eventually they can overtake you again and do worse. This is in a sense is casting out demons within us. I will say one of the biggest help in this is purpose. Find purpose to overcome. Sometimes addictions have come in the way in order to cope with our situation we have found ourselves in. We always want what’s better for us but are blind in the way of getting it. This is ignorance. The bible talks about attaining “Knowledge” which is information and “Wisdom” which knows how to apply it. The problem is we turn to quick solutions instead of doing the hard work sometimes. There are the 12 step programs and Celebrate Recovery programs that have help a lot of people, but there are some that feel they don’t need it and they can fight it by themselves. I say more power to you. I am this type of person as well and I will say it takes daily discipline and constant self checks and deep mental thought processing which goes along with a lot of inner self-seeking.

Please do not think I am preaching here, I try to stay away from the religious side of this as much as I can, because religion has been a big stumbling block for me in the area of guilt and shame. I have found a narrow way here which I seem to think is the most practical approach and not wishful thinking. From the beginning of this blog the main point was to find that narrow path which leads to that higher realm on the mountain. That place which is in you, “to succeed”. We need to shut out all the outside influences and sit quietly and with no thought seek that which is in and when you find it the truth will be revealed. That is what I am trying to show you here in each post. IT IS YOU and we are at war with ourselves. Some will lose this battle and this is a sad and grievous thing. We have lost a lot of famous people and a lot of family members and friends to the war within. (You’ll be missed Mr. Williams and Ms. Winehouse)

I am not saying we are a hopeless creature, it is quite opposite. The more I find who I am the more wonderful I see what I am. I AM ALL THINGS rolled into one being. I am Good and I am Evil. I am Flesh and I am Spirit, I am Happiness and I am Sadness. I am Salvation and I am Destruction. I AM ALL. I am in Control and I am out of Control. I am Careless and I am Mindful. Sometimes I feel like I am this nuclear power that needs to be held together through peace within myself or I will be blown apart and out of control like this pulsation “orb of energy” that can bring destruction to myself or others through actions or words. But that’s the beauty in knowing this, “I am aware of my wholeness”. We need to stay focused of that center that is within. Like the eye of the hurricane we must stay centered and calm even though the storm is around us, this is the safe place in the center within the eye. If you meditated then you know what I am saying here. We need to seek a balance within us to see this peace. This is the Lion and lamb lying down with each other. This is the flesh and spirit being one in peace. As Shakespeare put it from Hamlet,”To thine own self be true”, and from the Greek, “Know Thyself”. Know your strengths and weaknesses and keep them in check.

So in the lower realms we want and desire what the flesh thinks it needs. It all comes down to stimulation of the senses. In Mark 9:47, Jesus stated if your eye causes you to sin pluck it out, if you hand causes you to sin cut it off. Now again do not take this literal like some Christian do. Some people have self mutilated themselves because they misinterpreted the scriptures or where told to by their leaders to do so. Jesus was talking about the same thing Buddha was and it is DESIRE.  In the same sense the eye is what we see and want the hand is what the flesh wants and takes. Like the two thieves that were crucified with Christ on either side, so are the physical eyes that see and rob from us. Christ also said in this same scripture, “It is better to enter the kingdom of God with “THE ONE EYE” than with both”. So the idea is to see inside of us instead of what’s outside of us. If we stop looking outwardly then we can stop longing for what we want in order to satisfy the Hungry Ghost. That’s all Christ is saying.

In the letters Paul writes he himself is afflicted in the flesh. Whether or not this was a physical defect or an addiction of sort at the point of his conversion many scholars have debated this but it is still unknown, but Paul did anguish over it. He knew of the higher realm and stated he struggled in the flesh. Romans 7:18-19 For I know that in me, dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19;For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. We’ve all been here; we’ve all had to deal with or are still dealing with these things… addiction, habits and desires. Some of us still do and I still have addictions, habits and desires. I struggle with all the temptations of the flesh and have conquered some which had enslaved me and will no longer affect my health. Others I am still trying to find balance and release. It is a matter of balance. It is a matter of self-discipline. To strengthen the mind to control the flesh.

Here are a few scriptures to point to this… 1 Corinthians 6:12 “All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.”

1 Peter 1:13-16King James Version (KJV)13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

NIV 1 Peter 1:13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled.

Romans 7:20-26 KJV. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21;I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22;For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:23;But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24;O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?25;I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

addictiontree

I add this; The loins of your mind are the lower aspects of the flesh and the base chakras energies. Sober is to be clear minded with no preconceived idea or blurred thought.  When water is still, all the sediment will sink to the bottom, and it will become clear. That’s why water in scripture is used to represent thought.

Be discipline against lusts and rise up to the higher things of the mind which are all things Christ, please understand this that the higher mind is the Christ and anointing and if you have read my posts “holy” is not to be good but to be whole as in one or connected as one or complete. To seek God is to seek self. Jesus said seek ye first the kingdom of God. He also said the kingdom was within you. So seek that which is in you. Go into yourself and seek you. So meditate and reach the mind. The truth is the real consciousness of who you are and that consciousness is connected to the consciousness of the cosmos or universe which is God and it is this consciousness is which Adam fell from and is the fleshly death.

Addition, Habits and Desire defined; (wiki)Addiction is the continued repetition of a behavior despite adverse consequences, or a neurological impairment leading to such behaviors According to many addiction specialists, potential addictions can include, but are not limited to, drug abuse, exercise addiction, food addiction, computer addiction and gambling. Currently, however, only substance addictions and gambling addiction are recognized by the DSM-5. Classic hallmarks of addiction include impaired control over substances or behavior, preoccupation with substance or behavior, continued use despite consequences, and denial. Habits and patterns associated with addiction are typically characterized by immediate gratification (short-term reward), coupled with delayed deleterious effects (long-term costs). (wiki)

(wiki) A habit is a routine of behavior that is repeated regularly and tends to occur unconsciously. In the American Journal of Psychology (1903) it is defined in this way: “A habit, from the standpoint of psychology, is a more or less fixed way of thinking, willing, or feeling acquired through previous repetition of a mental experience. Habitual behavior often goes unnoticed in persons exhibiting it, because a person does not need to engage in self-analysis when undertaking routine tasks. Habits are sometimes compulsory. The process by which new behaviors become automatic is habit formation. Old habits are hard to break and new habits are hard to form because the behavioral patterns we repeat are imprinted in our neural pathways, but it is possible to form new habits through repetition.  (I added this to fit the complete thought; “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.”) As behaviors are repeated in a consistent context, there is an incremental increase in the link between the context and the action. This increases the automaticity of the behavior in that context. Features of an automatic behavior are all or some of: efficiency, lack of awareness, unintentionality, uncontrollability (wiki) (wiki)Desire is a sense of longing or hoping for a person, object, or outcome. The same sense is expressed by emotions such as “craving” or “hankering“. When a person desires something or someone, their sense of longing is excited by the enjoyment or the thought of the item or person, and they want to take actions to obtain their goal. The motivational aspect of desire has long been noted by philosophers; Thomas Hobbes (1588–1679) asserted that human desire is the fundamental motivation of all human action. (wiki)In Hinduism, the Rig Veda’s creation myth Nasadiya Sukta states regarding the one (ekam) spirit: “In the beginning there was Desire (kama) that was first seed of mind. Poets found the bond of being in non-being in their heart’s thought”.

(wiki)In Buddhism, for an individual to effect his or her liberation, the flow of sense-desire must be cut completely; however, while training, he or she must work with motivational processes based on skilfully applied desire. According to the early Buddhist scriptures, the Buddha stated that monks should “generate desire” for the sake of fostering skillful qualities and abandoning unskillful ones. While desires are often classified as emotions by laypersons, psychologists often describe desires as different from emotions; psychologists tend to argue that desires arise from bodily structures, such as the stomach’s need for food, whereas emotions arise from a person’s mental state. Marketing and advertising companies have used psychological research on how desire is stimulated to find more effective ways to induce consumers into buying a given product or service. While some advertising attempts to give buyers a sense of lack or wanting, other types of advertising create desire associating the product with desirable attributes, by showing either a celebrity or a model with the product. The theme of desire is at the core of romance novels, which often create drama by showing cases where human desire is impeded by social conventions, class, or cultural barriers. The theme of desire is also used in other literary genres, such as gothic novels (e.g., Dracula by Bram Stoker, in which desire is mingled with fear and dread). Poets ranging from Homer to Toni Morrison have dealt with the themes of desire in their work. Just as desire is central to the written fiction genre of romance, it is the central theme of melodrama films, which use plots that appeal to the heightened emotions of the audience by showing “crises of human emotion, failed romance or friendship”, in which desire is thwarted or unrequited. Luke 21:34″Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. (niv)

Mark 4:19 But the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful. (niv)

I add from a previous post, If caught in a tree or thicket, to set oneself free, one can only cut one branch at a time. So just like life’s problems and habits. Cut one at a time. Soon you will be free. Do not become overwhelmed by your dilemma but work in persistence and cut out what you can one at a time. Some branches are big and strong and may take a long time and may require a lot of energy to cut and break. Others are easy and small. But to see the changes that you want you must start doing it.

Nothing happens by itself. I have come to believe that God is the consciousness and the nature of the cosmos. But more than that God is a divine intelligence that we can see around us. The laws that force all things to do what they do. The Chinese call this the Tao or Dao. The way. We need to work in harmony with each other and take care of each other.

The balance of life

I am a big idealist when it comes to the thought of keeping things in proper perspective. All things have their opposites (even you) in that being said all things have their soft side and hard side, their comforting side and rebuking side, their physical side and spiritual side, their creative side and destructive side. Think of a red rose and in all its beauty and in that we have to remember it has thorns. But the beauty and the thorns together make it the rose.

In all things balance must be maintained for these forces to exist in each one. I believe that the image in the bible of the lion laying down with the lamb gives us that image of balance and a lot of Christian don’t understand this. If you have been following this blog then you know I have come to understand in a mystical sense that the lion is the flesh and devoirs with its appetites and the lamb is the gentle spirit in us that can get lost and led a stray by outside forces if not watched closely, which are the wolves that howl. In following them both individually they in and of themselves can put us on a path of destruction. The bible says not to stray to the left or the right but keep straight on the path. Gautama Buddha stated, “If you tighten the string too tight it will snap, but if it is too loose it will not play.” From this, he realized that he would have to take a “middle-way” to reach enlightenment and not by using extremes. I see here balance in all things is the way and the path.

The words are a light for this path to find and guide you as you walk the narrow way of balance, not giving into either side and getting carried away. We must find and keep balance in all things.

Fire, water, air and earth are our 4 basic elements and all have the ability to bring forth life and destroy life. We can see and feel the comfort of a campfire as we roast marshmallows and we can see the ravaging of the forest fire. We can feel the gentle refreshing rain as it brings life to all and can see the destruction of the floods and Tsunamis. With the earth we receive bountiful harvest from the fields, find protection in caves and see the wondrous beauties of the mountain’s and valley’s. But the destruction of an earthquake can wipe out cities in a matter of moments. A gentle breeze refreshes on a hot summers day and a tornado or hurricane brings sorrow.

In the idea of the Hindu gods Kali and Shiva represent these two forces. Kali being the Goddess of destruction and Shiva the God of rebirth and life and they go together. The Hindu thought knows this and these two Gods are married because they are one and are opposite of each other. Thus the balance between the two must be shared. So in our own life we too must keep balance from the spirit and the flesh. Yeshua (Jesus) said, “The road to destruction is broad and wide but the path (Gate) to righteousness (or rightness as I call it) is narrow”. Mathew 7:13.  ( it is interesting in reading from chapter 7 verse 7 to 13 that it is under the heading Ask, Seek and Knock in the NIV version ).

Getting back to balance, from the flesh side, sex, drugs, alcohol and food are pleasurable and also destructive forces which lead to addictions. From the spirit, religion and magic can be a delight and if carried away it becomes destructive in which hating or killing a brother because he believes different from you.

1 Corinthians 10:23 All things are lawful, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful, but not all things edify. So where do we find balance? Mathew 7:7-11; 7″Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you”. 8″For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened”. 9″Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10″Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake“? 11″If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him”! Many Christians are taught to believe Jesus was pointing out a negative action here as to say of course we are not going to give a snake or stone as gifts, BUT, if those of you who have insight to the mystical side Jesus was praising the people stating that yes you are teaching your children to go inside and touch the stone with the snake and this is a good gift and when you do then God will give you more. We need to go inside ourselves and seek, knock and ask. As I pointed out in Mathew chapter 7 Jesus was talking about the gate to the path and only a “few” will find it. So are many Christians on a path to destruction by Christ own words? Maybe.

In the above passage I believe Jesus was asking a direct question and not a question that sounds silly. He talks about giving good gifts and by no mistake he used the snake and the stone here which represents the pineal gland (stone) and the Kundilini (snake) in meaning ‘How many of you are teaching your children these things (meditate). The great snake Mucalinda covered Buddha as he sat and meditated while protecting him against the tempest (storm) for seven days. Seven here could be the seven chakra’s. Buddha was under the Bodhi Tree when this happen.

I have found that the Bodhi tree is a Fig tree and it is thought that in the story of Adam and Eve the serpent was in the tree and after the fall Adam and Eve covered themselves with Fig leaves. Jesus had rebuked the fig tree for not having fruit and in another story Jesus saw Nathanael sitting under a fig tree meditating in secret. A fig blossoms from the inside. So we to have to blossom from within. The name meaning of Nathanael is,” God has given”.

The book off Ecclesiastes is about living in balance, to not chase after things in either direction of flesh and spirit but to live in the center of live and find the joy and happiness in the impermanence of it all, because in a hundred years from now all the people on earth will be a new generation and the old will have passed.

Ecclesiastes 7;15-18,

15 In this meaningless life of mine I have seen both of these:

the righteous perishing in their righteousness,
and the wicked living long in their wickedness.
16 Do not be over-righteous,
    neither be overwise—
    why destroy yourself?
17 Do not be overwicked,
and do not be a fool—
    why die before your time?
18 It is good to grasp the one
and not let go of the other.
Whoever fears God will avoid all extremes.

We must find the balance within ourselves

Welcome to the Grand illusion (Part 2)

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
The illusion we live in and the greatest influences we have on man is “The performing arts” and a lot has come out of these that are praised. The two masks associated with the arts are the comedy and tragedy icons. These are represented by masks and the mask represent the person or animal begin portray by the actor wearing them.
The arts depict all the aspects of man and his surroundings and all he has created and deals with from what is seen and unforeseen forces we deem as spirits. Lucifer has been said to masquerade as an angel of light. If he is the father of the arts then we can see how man’s flesh can be influenced by the wants of man himself to achieve stardom at what ever cost. So in a realm of spirit verses flesh, man seems to be caught in two realms. First flesh which is earthly/worldly and second  mind-emotions and will, which are from above. In this condition man is placed in a choice of moral right and wrong and the drama begins. But what makes the story interesting enough is the boundaries of the morals keep changing as we see with every controversial subject of human rights that is placed before the courts.
I have come to the conclusion that man lives in a world filled with illusion. We as man are born with amnesia because we don’t know who we are and if reincarnation comes into play then who we were.. Scriptures tell us of some beginning of man and how it all began.  Other scriptures show how man should act and what could be man’s future.
But isn’t it interesting that the root for scripture is “script” and that is what an Actor follows. The Scriptures are broken into many forms of religions and beliefs and because of that we all play our parts. We are told to “act” in a certain way and believe something I cannot see to escape a torment of fire that lasts for eternity we call hell and from that I can see where religion has forced upon man the biggest drama of all and too many follow blindly. They put on the mask of  guilt, unworthiness and shame of who they are to play and follow their script without flaw.
I will add as a side note; If one wants to make prophecy real all you a have to do is write it down at some earlier time and then have someone else rig it as to play out later and people will believe it as prophecy. So in a sense this is what happens backstage with all the rigging’s, trap door’s and prop’s. They are there to pull off the illusion of the drama on stage to trick the people that it is real. This is why we have cult’s, terrorist, martyrs and people who give their lives up for drastic measures because of what they have been taught by the “scripture” to be real.
I can look at the bible as a big screen play. Sceen plays are written in a style or format as to give you a story of a problem that is created  and how to resolve this problem. As the screenplay is written it must have a setting and within the first 10 mins of the play it must have a hook or an event to draw you into a situation the actor finds himself in, Then most of the story is he must now get himself out of the situation and that is what is called the drama. During this drama many events take place to find resolve for the situation the actor found himself in. Toward the end comes the climax of the play where there is another twist in the resolve and the actor again finds themselves in another problem. The end of the screen play is the resolve, this is where the actor finds the pieces to defeat the forces that where against him to end the drama.
I am flesh that is born with desires that are against purity from the beginning which is call my sinful nature and in this weakened state have forces greater than I that influence what I do and even think (thus the opening scripture of the post). Many of these are from within which are emotions and spirit and what some call the soul and some influences are from outside which would be the five senses and my body which is nothing more than a chemical base system effected by an electric-magnetic field of energy. My mind is to be strong seeking wisdom and knowledge to guide as a light… But YET I am held accountable for my all actions good or bad. We are told we have a God that sits in heaven that nobody has seen with their own eyes, and even Moses did not look at God directly but saw his backside and Moses was shielded. In the tabernacle of Moses only the high priest could go behind the veil and meet with God and God has always been in veil as to be in secret and Jesus said in Mathew 6:6, Do not pray in the streets but go in secret so God see’s you in secret. It is in our mind where this all take place. We are the new temple.
So what I purpose is that from both sides we stand as God and Satan in the form called man. The duality of Good and Evil, God and Satan in one. Could it be that when God said let’s make man in our image he was speaking to Lucifer? It is said Lucifer is constantly before God accusing the saints. Even the story of Job starts out with Satan asking God for a challenge to afflict Job and see what his choice would be. Lucifer could afflict on the flesh and invoke conditions on Job and it was all to unravel the mind and have Job curse God. So, the mind and flesh are battling it out to see who is the victor. Who is the hero and villain in this illusion we call life? That’s for us to figure out and it’s all on stage.

Welcome to the Grand illusion (Part 1)

In 1977 the album Grand illusion was released by a band named STYX. The focus that I am bring forth is the song “The Grand illusion” the lyrics in the song sums up what we are striving for and it is the illusion.

Songwriters: DE YOUNG, DENNIS
Written by Dennis DeYoung Lead Vocals by Dennis DeYoung
Welcome to the Grand illusion
Come on in and see what’s happening
Pay the price, get your tickets for the show
The stage is set, the band starts playing
Suddenly your heart is pounding
Wishing secretly you were a star.
But don’t be fooled by the radio
The TV or the magazines
They show you photographs of how your life should be
But they’re just someone else’s fantasy
So if you think your life is complete confusion
Because you never win the game
Just remember that it’s a Grand illusion
And deep inside we’re all the same. We’re all the same…
So if you think your life is complete confusion
Because your neighbors got it made
Just remember that it’s a Grand illusion And deep inside we’re all the same.
We’re all the same…
America spells competition, join us in our blind ambition
Get yourself a brand new motor car
Someday soon we’ll stop to ponder what on Earth’s this spell we’re under
We made the grade and still we wonder who the hell we are

As I read these lyric’s from almost 35 plus years ago the story has not changed. It is all about image. It’s all about wanting. We are trying to find who we are. Trying to find ourselves in external things. To find a worth and in that thinking that if I can make it then I would be looked upon by others as somebody. So many of us try to achieve a status of worth and in doing so we feed the EGO and the desires of the flesh. Don’t get me wrong here about possessions we do need them to live. But do we need all these thing to be someone? It is said that true beauty comes from within. I will say this is so true. We have hid inside so no one can see us as we really are. We try and adorn ourselves with jewelry, beautiful clothes and fancy cars to make ourselves somebody.   It’s like trying to Gild a Butterfly. The butterfly already has beauty in and of itself, why try to cover over it.

So we go around thinking we need things in our lives to make us happy and somebody special. We are told these things from birth and are programmed to believe them and they become part of who we are as our character. That is interesting that a character is who is in the play or drama. Even the word character has the word “Actor” and a play or movie is nothing more than illusion that is set on a stage and it is said the whole world is a stage. As Alan watts put it about an actor his job is to trick you into thinking they are the character they are playing and it is to fool you and draw you in through deception and deception is a half truth.

In this time and age we call now we are bombarded by images, apps and the internet whether it be at a personal PC or hand-held device. But we can identify something quickly by an Icon or a Logo. It’s all about an image, Logo or an idol. In john it states in the beginning was “The logos” translation is “word” and man is in this society has formed for himself everything as a symbol, logo or an Icon to identify things. Even on the internet to disguise yourself you make an Avatar which represents you. Adam was given the responsibility to name all the animals so if I say Elephant an image pops into your head of and Elephant.  Even you and I are given a name by which we are identified. The government  has issued a number for you in form of a social security number.

Logo’s and icon’s are how we identify things. Signs, billboards, radio and TV tell us what we should do, how we should be, what to buy and eat and even look. Sex sell’s and we know it. What’s in and what’s out and it is all done by just a picture of  from an icon.  The highest icon is a star. Some people are known by just one name such as Elvis, Prince, Madonna, Beyoncé, etc. From music and pop stars that influences generations to movie stars that people idolize.  Some famous stars have obtained both in crossing over from music to acting or visa versa. Most of this is born from a fleshly desire to want attention to feed an ego of who am I. We all want to be somebody and identified as such.  I will leave you with this…An icon (from Greek εἰκών eikōn “image”) is a religious work of art.(wiki)

God as Light

Could it be that God created for himself a body to dwell in as light? What I want to bring forth is the Idea of Light as a form of energy God is wrapped in.  We have read Genisis 1 1:19 in the beginning God created… But one of the first things God created was light. God created light and darkness and in scripture we read God wraps himself in both. Then he created the luminaries.  The theory is that the universe was created from a big bang or big explosion of energy that  created all matter. From Wiki, “The core ideas of the Big Bang—the expansion, the early hot state, the formation of light elements, and the formation of galaxies—are derived from these and other observations.” As scientist has discovered all energy is a wave form as we know it. What I want to speculate is this light energy and the light energy spectrum is God… Intelligent light.  So can I add that we as humans can hear and see within this spectrum of energy. It is my understanding that the brain is a transmitter and receiver.  Our high-speed means of todays telecommunications are possible through fiber optics and microwaves that transmit information through light and the speed of light. So could it be possible we receive our thoughts through the same process through photons  and waves of energy entering in us and hitting the receptors of the brain? Bill Donohue of Hidden meanings stated, “If they were to do an autopsy of your brain they would find no memory, no idea, no thought”. So where are they? They would not find you… but you know you are there inside your head. So could it be this is who we are as light operating in flesh? Just as a car needs a driver this body needs a life force…a light being.  God as light energy and we operate within light so in that we are call the children of light.

The theory of light is that it is both a particle and a wave is interesting. As light passes through a prism we can see the light color spectrum as broken wave reflecting but the photon is a particle that enters the prism. What I want to think about is that in the bible it proclaims God is light; This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him is no darkness at all. (1 John 1:5 RSV) Moses saw God as light as a great burst of energy and when Moses saw god in his glory his face shone brightly (Exodus chapter 33 and 34).

Numbers 23:1 says God is not human. God is Love, Spirit and Light as stated in verse. Man is made in his image so are we light? Are Angels light? Satan is said to masquerade and an Angel of light. Angels appeared in bright and shining appearance. We are told there is a light inside us all. We are the light of the world and Christ said we can do better than him. So is this the image of God that is talked about  when we are created in his likeness? We are said to be made of clay (earth) related to vessels. Vessels are something that stores or carries items. Ships are called vessels as well as your veins that carry life-giving blood through your bodies. So is this body a place of dwelling for a light being which is you? It is my conclusion… YES

I will add the conversion of Saul in Acts 9:1-9 Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless; they heard the sound but did not see anyone. Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus. For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything.

Psalms 104:2 The LORD wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent. So if light is the body of God and the voice of god can be heard in it and things through his mind can be made manifest through it just think what effect the universe has on us if we just open to it.  In Job 38-31-33 we see 31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?32 Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

These stars we see as constellations do have an effect on us here. We got to remember here that we are earth and the dust that covers the earth is layers upon layers of particle that enter our atmosphere from out there. We are star-dust.

Taking it one step more God became flesh and wrapped his light in flesh in the hearts of man. So there is his light in us and we are light beings in flesh made a little lower than the angels.

Emotions are our wives.

The conclusion that I have come to is a lot of stories from the Bible are allegories that one can look at as mysticism. Now this word scares a lot of people but even Joseph and his coat of many colors was a mystic and a diviner. It was never taught this way, but he was.
Genesis 44;1-5, And he commanded the steward of his house, saying, Fill the men’s sacks with food, as much as they can carry, and put every man’s money in his sack’s mouth.  And put my cup, the silver cup, in the sack’s mouth of the youngest, and his corn money. And he did according to the word that Joseph had spoken As soon as the morning was light, the men were sent away, they and their asses. And when they were gone out of the city, and not yet far off, Joseph said unto his steward, Up, follow after the men; and when thou dost overtake them, say unto them, Wherefore have ye rewarded evil for good? Is not this it in which my lord drinketh, and whereby indeed he divineth? ye have done evil in so doing.
Galatians 4:24 Which things are an allegory
What I want to point out here in this post is that the idea of Adam and Eve are our flesh and emotions working together as husband and wife. In reading in 1 peter 3 one can see this. Most people read it as literal that the wife should be submissive to the husband. To this we can see where abuse does come from for many woman. Men and women are equal partners in this life.

I want you to look at it as the woman meaning emotions and the husband being the flesh/mind that must work together to create proper actions of one self. God said and the two shall become one flesh. The fact that people take the words as literal meaning without truly looking into them are fooling themselves and live in an illusion.

Now I have inserted in parentheses’ my view of meaning and hope it comes across as intended. 1 Peter 3:1-7, Wives (emotions), in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands (The mind/thought)  so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, (emotions under control) when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your “inner self”, the unfading beauty of a “gentle and quiet spirit”, (emotions under control) which is of great worth in God’s sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. They submitted themselves to their own husbands(The Mind), like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord. You are her daughters ( I have said in other posts, the daughters of man are his emotions and the sons of man are his thoughts) if you do what is right and do not give way to fear. Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives (emotions), and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.

In reading this with the emotions being our wives/daughters and the feminine side of us, we need to keep our emotions in tact and not run wild. For if we react to our emotions we create for ourselves problems and irrational choices that affect our lives. Operating mainly from emotions is like opening Pandora’s box. Listen to your emotions and keep them dear but don’t base decisions from them without meditating on them.

Satan’s in the flesh and the lower mind.

I do not blindly follow The Buddha, but take his teachings and apply them to my life to enhance my walk (path). I believe in the forgiveness of Christ as the firm foundation and believe his message and that message is to help all. The commands Christ gives is to love your neighbor as yourself and to love God with all. The Dharma or The Way helps me use principles to guide my life acting as a lamp onto my path.

But when we get down to it, It’s all about you and me on an individual basis. It ‘s all about my actions and whom they serve. Do they serve my own ego and wants or do they serve others? We are constantly working on self and that everything we do is for self. So if we are constantly to be mindful of self then that would make ourselves first in all and in being first we are God. God not in the sense of the God we know Biblically, but God in the sense we have the power to choose and to use this body as a tool to extend what we choose to others and in  that choice we effect all around us. So the struggle is to get away from flesh and the ego of self want and to be mindful of the evil that is created from getting what the flesh desires for self gain. Galatians 5;19-22 states; The works of the flesh are evident, which are; Adultery Fornication, Uncleanness, lewdness, Idolatry, Sorcery, Hatred, Contentions. Jealousy, Outburst of wrath, Selfish ambitions, Dissensions, Heresies, Envy, Murders, Drunkenness, Revelries and like things. These things or actions are what the lower mind uses to harm or take advantage of your brother to provide self gain. In this idea it is all about you and selfishness.

So as you can see the flesh is in basic terms is animalistic and a matter of self preservation. 2 Peter 10 This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh[c] and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, they are not afraid to heap abuse on celestial beings;11 yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not heap abuse on such beings when bringing judgment on them from[d] the Lord. 12 But these people blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like unreasoning animals, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like animals they too will perish. 1

To inherit the kingdom of God , you need to be led by the holy spirit. (The Mother or mind of compassion, the higher mind). When you walk in the Spirit, you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

When Jesus rebuke Peter and calls him Satan he explain why Peter is Satan. Matt 16;23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.”

Once one realizes the ego and its wants then one can press on to push ourselves to the higher mind or the things of God and remove the lower mind which is the things of Satan. Peter writes that Satan is like a  roaming lion that is looking for someone to devoir. Our flesh is that lion and it’s natural cravings causes us to roam and look for new things that entice us and bring us fleshly pleasure which usually leads to our own destruction. Drugs and alcohol are to easiest to get. Reading Peter he strongly urges us to stay away from the fleshly cravings that destroy us and look to the higher self of creating a new self that leads to health for this flesh. I know that once you start on this path your choices will become better for you.

Greater who is in you

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4:4

We are taught this fundamental doctrine is the holy spirit or God vs the devil. From my perspective, if you have been following this blog, you are an image of God or made by God to be him in flesh. Christ was the example of who we are to be, The WAY, the one who is in you is God. The one who is in the world is the flesh or body. The world is made for the flesh and the 5 senses we have. These senses allow us to enjoy the physical experience in what we create. This is why we are told our bodies are an instrument of God or a tool. It’s able to take from the mind and create into physical. It is my understanding that the woman at the well and her 5 husbands pointed out by Jesus are the 5 sense and she gave herself over to vs the spirit inside. This is why Jesus said if your eye causes you to sin pluck it out, if your hand causes you to sin cut it off. He didn’t mean it literally, but take note. This is where man gets lost and takes it for face value instead of looking at it in a spiritual sense. This spiritual sense is mystical. We get so lost in the lower mind or flesh that we allow the world to dictate our actions through our senses and in that we get carried away and we fall into addictions and pleasures of all sorts and fornicate our spirit (higher mind) with these things of the flesh, thus the one who is in the world. Research who the God Pan was half man half Goat. I would go as far as to say the flesh and it desires being The Great Babylon” and its captivity. The Hebrew children in Egypt is all symbolism of the fleshly way of life. Even Sodom and Gomorra dealt with the destruction of the flesh. So the God in you is overcoming those places that keep you captive.

The one in you connected to the image of God is more powerful than the flesh…The Higher Mind…and with this you are the creative force making you like or God. Now don’t get me wrong there is only one God almighty and I am not saying this is who you (we) are but we are his children and offspring therefore having his likeness. If you have children your children have there own personality but they are you as well. They pick up your mannerisms, they are you, they are a reflection of you.

You are an image of God. Take a look at the dollar bill and ask yourself who is on the dollar bill? You would say that is George Washington and you associated that to the image. But is that really George? No, it is merely an image of him, but it is how we identify who is whom. The world is all about image and images and everything we know has some type of logo we identify with. Revelations says the mark of the beast for those who worship the beast. A symbol of a name or packaging. We know the Apple computer by its logo of and Apple with one look we know. The emblems on the cars we drive represent who the manufacture is. The products we purchase such Cereal boxes have their icons like The “Trix Rabbit”, Frosted flakes have “Tony the Tiger”. Lucky Charms have “Lucky the Leprechaun” and we use these to quickly identify them as we stroll through the grocery isles. These are all part to identify with our psych.

If we begin to see who we are from the inside we begin to see God a creative power. The Church wants you to believe and identify that you are unworthy of such greatness and you are a sinner and there is no hope for you and you are going to hell to suffer and unless you join their belief you will be lost forever. To believe their version of who you are through and organized group to gain and keep power over you thus allowing you to deny the one in you. During the inquisitions the Church establishing their rule by torture and death to the people of all. Remember Peter who Christ said he will build his church on? Remember Peter denied Christ three times to save his own skin. We have all been there.

So we are taught to workout our own salvation meaning it is an individual walk. The Buddhist have always claimed no one can walk the path but you. Christians have given it hope by the story of the footprints in the sand that in a dream one saw two sets of footprints in the sand but during hard times they saw only one set. They asked Jesus where were you during these hard times and Jesus said I was carrying you. Either belief still says we are in the mist of it all. We go into that place of the wilderness in times of trouble. That wilderness is our thoughts and we have to battle them. Those who know scriptures use them to keep the mind focused and that is what they are there for. Our thoughts are like sheep if one thought begins to stray the rest of ourselves (thoughts) begin to follow. Our thoughts begin to gather like storm clouds and hang gloomy over us. We become physically sick. But when we can control the thoughts and emotions we are like Christ  going after the lost sheep to bring it back under control of the shepherd being centered. Paul writes to renew your mind. Work out your salvation leave behind the teachings of the basic Christ and move forward. Accept the forgiveness that you are in the flesh and move on to the place where Moses met God. The higher ground or Mount.

The Bible has said there is a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth. Personally as I try and press forward in my path and working through the duality of being half flesh and half spirit I fight the flesh of being the beast within. I find that when I give into the flesh I feel guilt and shame and weep due to the failure of giving in and from that failure I become angry with myself and curse the flesh which is gnashing of teeth. Matthew 8:12 But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Where is the kingdom? IN YOU. The subjects are your thoughts.

But why does God allow sin to happen? I can see If one is on the path to a higher self, then sin can be used as a catapult to reach a new height or create a new direction. We have to understand as a individual how we are made, we are all the cosmos into one. Let me take the word “individual” and spin it into something that just came to me.  Individual would be “In- Divine- Dualism”, We are God made flesh. So Greater is he in you than he that is in the world (flesh).

I will add one more thing Jesus said  in John 14:10-20 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. 15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

The scriptures are ideas and stories of who you are inside and how the mind works and this power we have in us all who is God. The world powers have taken the scriptures and have used them as a script to follow to get you to believe in the flesh and that you need them, but in reality all you need is you and who is in you.

Aladdin, his lamp and the magic carpet.

aladdin

Aladdin and the lamp is a very popular Arabic tale. It is about a poor boy whose father dies and is left with his mother. A magician comes to the door and tricks the mother and son that he is a long-lost uncle and takes to boy to find a lamp. They arrive at the place where to find the lamp. Aladdin is given a magic ring and door opens to a cave and the boy is pressed to enter and grab the lamp. Aladdin finds the lamp but gets trapped in the cave. He uses a Genie within the ring to be transported home to his mother. Aladdin still has the lamp and finds the secret of the lamp by rubbing the lamp. And this is where we find the Genie within the lamp. Aladdin uses the Genie to pursue the princess and persuade the king he is rich and worthy to have his daughter.  Later in the story the lamp is stolen by the magician again and Aladdin uses the ring to find the princess. They kill the magician and use the Genie in the lamp to bring them back home and live in riches.

I find Disney has done a great job of adapting the story in their movie Aladdin. But what I want to bring to light is the idea of a power we have in us as related to the Genie. In the movie Aladdin, the Sorcerer Jafar wants power to rule and create evil . At the climax of the movie Aladdin tricks him by saying there is one more powerful than you and that is the Genie in the lamp with his powers, so Jafar uses his last wish to become a Genie with all the powers of the universe only to be trapped in his own lamp and banished.

The powers of the universe. As I look out into the night sky I can see what the heavens hold and my question is what is the cosmos and what is its purpose? My conclusion is the cosmos is the mind of God, the tree of life, the big machine. The cosmos is filled with energy and vibrations that effect us here on earth and don’t for a moment think they don’t. Just like radio and television man has been able to take vibrations frequencies that we cannot see and produce something out of nothing. Sound energy, Light energy, X-rays and such. These are all vibrational energy. But how can we tap into the cosmic energy? Meditation! To quiet the mind and tap into the cosmos. We as humans have the ability to think and create.

who are you in this thing

The kundalini and the pineal glad that sits at the top of the spine in your brain are tools we have to help tap the cosmos. The spine can be viewed as a candlestick and at the top of that candlestick sits the lamp.  If you have seen Disney’s Aladdin where Jafar and Aladdin were opening the “Cave of wonders” Jafar put two halves of a scarab together to open the cave. In Egyptian thought, the scarab was to represent the brain or head because of how it looked. So when the brain halves are together male and female they produce a son (Christ or anointed one). With the two halves joined, we are of one mind and we enter into ourselves and our mind. “The cave of wonders” and the Book of Adam and Eve from the Gnostics say’s “The cave of treasure”. I take this as to mean very much the same thing. Jesus called this the closet or the upper room and we are to go there.

Once entering the cave, Aladdin was to touch nothing but the lamp. Here I see when in meditation we are to take no thought (touch nothing). As we begin to have the Kudalini raise we can open the energy fields of the charkas and let oil (cerebrospinal fluid) that runs up our spine to begin to raise up the candlestick (spine) to the pineal to light the lamp. Om is a voice technique that allows a vibration to be felt in the throat and rise through the skull into the pineal area thus vibrating or rubbing the lamp. Once the lamp is enlighten then we have power connecting us with the Genie within us to create with the power of the universe what ever we wish. This Universal power is God and some have call this the baptism of fire. Jesus told the disciples to go into the upper room and wait. They were to wait for the anointing which was to give them power.  Now I will add that this is spiritual and this power cannot be taken with evil intent or self gain through evil. However you will create what you desire. Aladdin was a diamond in the rough and of pure heart, where as Jafar was of an impure heart and could not enter the cave himself to take hold of the lamp.

Lamp

In the movie Aladdin, Aladdin did have a companion which was a monkey named Abu. Abu was continually getting into mischief. But here I can see where the monkey could be what we term as “A Monkey on your back” or in a sense alluding to “The monkey Mind”. Aladdin being a poor boy again had this idea of who he was and that kept nagging him. Aladdin wanted better and in that mind set he used the power of the Genie to get what he wanted. We have the opportunity to do so as well.

The meaning of the movies character names;

Aladdin means, Servant of Allah or nobility of faith” or “nobility of religion”.

Jafar means, Stream

Jasmine means, Flower or Climbing vine

Abu means, Either holy man or saint but can be used for Father

Iago means, Spanish form of Jacob.

Note: you can research these on the internet.

Now putting the main names together like this I can see where names can show a true meaning in a hidden form. The story of Jacob’s ladder (ladder very close to Aladdin) was the dream of Angels ascending and Descending from heaven and to which he uses a stone and called to place Peniel.

Jesus said If your eye be single then your whole body will be filled with light. Mathew 6;22

I will add In the Disney version, not the book, Aladdin finds A magic carpet, also called a flying carpet. It is a legendary carpet that can be used to transport a person who is on it instantaneously or quickly to their destination. These can be fable or truth, I don’t know. But I will add, If one is meditating, one usually is sitting on the ground. Most of the floors are covered with a carpet of sort. So here once reaching the point to open the mind we begin to fly from that point in which we are sitting…The piece of carpet.

I would add the symbol of Hermes is a staff which two serpents are climbing and at the top is wings seeing that once the top of the spine or staff has been reached then the mind is open and takes flight. The bible says to sore with the wings of an Eagle. Some have claimed to have had out of body experiences or remote viewing which can be related to this.  I have experience out of body experiences twice myself. The Kundalini is added to aid in the idea of serpent and the spine.

Isaiah 40:31 ESV ;But they who wait for the Lord (meditate) shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Revelation 12:14 ESV; But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time. (Which could refer in mystical terms of the 3 1/2 coils of the Kundalini serpent at the base of the spine).

Psalm 103:5 ESV; Who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Jeremiah 48:40 ESV ; For thus says the Lord: “Behold, one shall fly swiftly like an eagle and spread his wings against Moab;

Exodus 19:4 ESV;You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.

The idea behind the eagle and the serpent is well shown in the bible and is a symbol on the Mexican coat of arms and the eagle as an American symbol. The idea that the serpent is the lower mind and as we ascend “the Kundalini” we take flight and the eagle defeats this lower mind.  The American seal of the Eagle shows in one foot an olive branch meaning peace In the other foot of the eagle are arrows meaning force. This Eagle possesses both peace and might. This to me means not by force or might but by the power of this eagle (the mind) or this ability in us to reach the power in us.

I cannot help but think that the bible is written text to expose the mind and the power we have through meditation in meeting God. God who is the divine intelligence behind all creation and the holy spirit is the power in which all thing are made and Christ is the action that connects the mind of man to the power and God to make all thing possible.
